The gCOTI Community Campaign is all about rewarding our supporters, both past and present. As recently shared, in this campaign, past and present members of the COTI community may receive an amount of gCOTI based on their participation and contribution to the ecosystem.
How Will the gCOTI Community Campaign Work?
A total of 5M gCOTI has been allocated to the Community Campaign. This amount will be distributed amongst past contributors, participants of ongoing content competitions, and members that share the campaign on social media.
Out of the total 5M gCOTI, we have allocated around 500K to our loyal community members that have constantly contributed to the COTI ecosystem in the past. Everything from social media engagement and participating in community conversations to tool building and running Testnet and Mainnet nodes.
These active community members did so without having any promise or expectation of a reward, and that’s exactly why we would like to give back.
Which Past Contributors are Eligible?
We wanted to reward those that have supported us on our social media platforms (Twitter, Discord & Telegram). Using platforms and bots like Lunar Crush, Teleme and Combot, we identified the top 20 community members on each platform that were consistently active and engaging over the past 12 months. And here is the list!
The community members mentioned above will receive a portion of gCOTI rewards. If you’re on that list, please make sure to send us a direct message to this account with your wallet address. Please be cautious: The COTI team will never request you to send funds to any wallet address.
But more than just recognizing our social media stars, we’d also like to give some appreciation to COTI’s node operators, tools and website builders, podcast hosts, and more!
All of these valued community members will also get a part of the gCOTI rewards.
The gCOTI for past contributors will be distributed in the next few weeks, airdropped directly to their VIPER wallets.
The remaining gCOTI of the community campaign has been allocated to content creation competitions and future marketing activities.
The first competition with a total of 100K gCOTI in rewards (50K gCOTI for the first prize) will be announced soon!
