It has been a few weeks since our last update and we are pleased to share that all products across COTI’S ecosystem are still aligned with the 2022 roadmap. The R&D team is working hard on deploying new developments and upgrades. Read or watch the video below to see the latest updates:
MultiDAG 2.0:
The backend development team has completed its tasks related to MultiDAG 2.0 and is now in the testing stage. The front-end team is working on all of the UI enhancements related to the introduction of new tokens to the Trustchain. They are focusing on: My Addresses, Send\Receive, and the new My Tokens pages, which will enable the generation and minting of tokens.
Explore 2.0 & Bridge 2.0:
The frontend development team has begun working on the new and improved Explorer 2.0 user interface that is planning to be released along with the MultiDAG 2.0. The product team has finalized the Bridge 2.0 user interface design and functional requirements, and the frontend development team will start work on it as soon as the Explorer 2.0 UI is ready. We are also looking to improve our support flow for bridge related issues by providing our support team with a new bridge management interface that will expedite issue resolution. The noticeable performance improvement of the COTI explorer is attributed to an architectural upgrade that changed how the explorer consumes data from the blockchain. Instead of queering a full node that acted as a bottleneck, it now queries a dedicated API that serves the same purpose. This change had to be done to account for the expected significant transaction increase over the Trustchain related to the introduction of new tokens. This solution will enable mass scaling of the network and ensure the explorer can serve the community at any moment in a secure and performance-efficient manner.
COTI’s Governance token
We are making progress on researching different airdrop mechanisms to ensure a smooth and fair release and distribution of the governance token to the community.
Treasury:
The product team has finalized the requirements of the Treasury iOS application, and the mobile development team has begun working on it.
