$COTI and $GOVI added to Orion Pool
Decentralized exchanges (DEXs) are on the rise, making it easier than ever to create and market different tokens. However, centralized exchanges (CEXs) are still dominating crypto markets. Yet building the path to a fully decentralized digital asset marketplace is critical for the future of cryptocurrency trading.
Most recently, COTI announced a new partnership with Orion Protocol to provide interested parties with easier access to $COTI (BEP20) and $GOVI across both DEXs and CEXs. More specifically, both of these digital assets were added to the Orion Pool on August 9th.
This partnership lets traders access $COTI and $GOVI globally, without third-party interference. Both $COTI and $GOVI can now be traded at the best prices across CEXs and DEXs. Moreover, liquidity providers for the COTI/BNB and GOVI/ETH pools are now able to earn 0.3% pool fees and farming rewards.
It’s also important to mention that users will not be required to have an account or provide know-your-customer (KYC) details to access $COTI and $GOVI within the Orion Pool. This is all possible because the Orion Terminal is the only trading platform that allows decentralized access to both CEXs and swap pools in one place. This provides traders with a single portal they can use for trading, staking, and governance voting.
The launch of this pool marks the first stage of an exciting, long-term partnership between Orion and COTI. You can read more about this news here.

COTI’s bank account and Visa debit cards are coming soon
As cryptocurrency continues to go mainstream, it’s no surprise that “crypto debit cards” have become insanely popular. To put this in perspective, Visa announced on July 7th that spending via its crypto-based debit cards surpassed $1 billion during the first half of this year. In turn, payment giants like Visa and Mastercard are taking a number of steps to facilitate crypto-enabled debit cards.
As crypto debit cards gain popularity, COTI is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of our very own Visa debit card. COTI’s “Visa Debit Cards” program will allow users to have a crypto-friend bank account with similar advantages to that of a traditional European bank account. For instance, there will be multiple fiat upload options for users, including selling crypto, debit card top-ups and bank wires. COTI’s Visa debit cards also let users withdraw fiat from ATMs, or when buying crypto and via bank wires.
Most importantly, the fees to use COTI’s Visa debit card are extremely low, resulting in just a few dozen Euros per month. The debit card is entirely free with some of the lowest usage fees in the market at 0.7%. With over 1.6 billion adults unbanked globally, we hope that our new Visa debit card will make an impact for those seeking financial freedom.
