On June 4, 2019 the COTI Mainnet was launched, and as part of our 3 year celebration week of COTI’s Mainnet release, we are excited to share that a new Mainnet node has been added to the COTI network: Fireflight Node! The new node is now live and running.
The Fireflight is the 24th full node added to the COTI network, and counting. We will continue to select TestNet operators who patiently await their turn to become the next Mainnet node operators while knowing the demand is high.
New node operators are selected carefully not only according to the length of their wait but also to the nature of their activity and contribution to the network.
After seeing the efforts The Fireflight put into helping the COTI community, we knew he should be the next node operator. He is an estimated COTI Testnet operator, who joined the COTI community back in 2020. Fireflight is an active member of COTI’s community and is known for his devotion to help other community members with technical issues. I discovered COTI in late 2020 and what attracted me — besides the revolutionary technology they are working on — was the expert team and the very welcoming community. I wanted to contribute and play a bigger role, so I’ve set up a testnet node in January 2021. This was a very smooth process thanks to the help of community members. I have been paying it forward ever since and been helping out people in the COTI community whenever I can. It’s very exciting to be part of this digital revolution and I’m confident COTI will be one of the important building blocks for the next generation of payments. Always #staycoti !”
