This week we’ll continue to introduce our team, new and old, for you to get to know them better. In this week’s edition, we sat down with Mari Juravleva, COTI’s Product Manager. We asked Mari five questions to get to know her better, check it out:
Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how you got into Crypto?
It all started back in 2017, when I worked as an event project manager. A colleague of mine asked me to join his friend’s NFT startup. Over the next few months I learnt about smart contracts, NFTs, how to manage teams and create products. After that I worked for a few crypto wallets, I also worked for an exchange where I was able to learn more about the technology behind crypto and fell in love with the Web3 world.
Besides the Crypto world, my life is filled with a lovely family: stepdaughter and husband. I have an enormous amount of hobbies and I like to be spontaneous and choose a different activity every week.
What attracted you to COTI?
When I first heard about COTI, I was quite impressed by the fact that COTI’s products were for enterprises with the intention of driving mass adoption. I saw the idea of getting enterprise players into the environment as a promising one. Also, I saw that COTI has multiple growth directions at the same time that presented a great opportunity for my own professional development.
What do you hope to improve from within COTI’s Product department?
I hope to bring in a more purposeful approach to COTI’s product development, and to also work with the Product team to enable structured improvements. I’m excited about some of the brand new features that the team is working on, these features will improve our product and push it towards the right direction.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I grew up near the deepest lake in the world, which is covered with unbelievably beautiful ice in the winter, and people come there from different parts of the world for ice skating. It also holds more than 20% of the unfrozen fresh water on the surface of Earth.
