COTI Welcomes Crafter, UCTalent Labs, and Crypto Inheritance Protocol to the Ecosystem
COTI is excited to announce three new Web3 partnerships, exploring new use cases for COTI privacy! Crafter is a zero-code deployment app for smart contracts. UCTalent Labs is a Web3 recruitment app that uses smart contracts and gamification to connect employers with candidates and finally, Crypto Inheritance Protocol (CIP) offers a solution for securing crypto legacies.
Each of the three will leverage COTI’s privacy technology in different ways, using the platform’s garbled circuits — the most advanced solution for Web3 privacy currently available — to offer unique functionality for users.
Crafter: Smart Contracts Without The Stress
Crafter, one of the first grantees of the COTI Builders Program, will launch on the COTI Mainnet, leveraging the network’s fast, lightweight privacy technology. The platform will offer a range of pre-built modules that enable anyone to create NFT collections, encrypted vaults, and many more applications!
Building software can be a specialist undertaking, but a range of new AI tools and no-code platforms has lowered the barriers to entry, enabling more entrepreneurs to launch products without in-depth knowledge of programming languages. Smart contracts have a reputation for being particularly complex, putting them out of reach of all but the most experienced developers, until now.
Crafter has an advanced yet user-friendly visual interface, allowing builders to define highly customizable rules without writing a single line of code! The system will ultimately facilitate the creation of any smart contract imaginable, leading to rapid prototype development and endless possibilities.
Crafter’s platform aligns perfectly with COTI’s vision of making Web3 both more private and more accessible for builders, using no-code and low-code tools to enable regular users to become developers and entrepreneurs. At launch on the COTI mainnet, Crafter will support the creation of single mint NFTs and collections, generating a series of tokens from provided images and metadata. In time, further functionality will be available, including sophisticated NFT minting features, as well as more complex ideas such as encrypted safes, with pre-specified conditions for access, “time capsules” that will release stored information on a given date or event in the future, and more.
UCTalent Labs: The Privacy Web3 Talent Network
UCTalent Labs leverages blockchain to create a secure, transparent, and incentivized referral system for recruitment. The system connects talent with hiring companies via a trusted, reward-driven network and Career AI Agent, facilitated by smart contracts — increasing efficiency and broadening accessibility for recruiters and job-seekers alike.
An initial proof-of-concept, run in 2023–2024, saw 100 referral hirings, with 2,700 talent registrations and 2,000 applicants. Since then, UCTalent Labs’ has progressed to become the leading Web3 jobs board for SEA/APAC regions.
On the strength of this, UCTalent Labs is now an early COTI grantee, and will use the platform’s privacy features to ensure confidentiality within the referral and recruitment process, ensuring that sensitive information is not leaked to outsiders. This is critical in the recruitment sector, and especially in fast-paced markets such as Web3, where top talent is in high demand and businesses can compete fiercely for the best candidates. COTI can offer a fast and efficient means of achieving the necessary level of confidentiality, preventing third parties from viewing details of any applications in process.
The platform is currently running on Base and BNB testnet, but will move to COTI on Mainnet launch. A mobile app and private coaching for career development are in the works, and the company is also planning to release the first community NFT collection and launch UCTalent Token on COTI V2!
Crypto Inheritance Protocol
Every year, an estimated $10 billion in crypto is lost through misplaced or destroyed private keys, including when owners pass away. Crypto Inheritance Protocol (CIP) aims to change that, offering a secure, tamper-proof solution that ensures digital assets are protected for generations to come.
Built on COTI’s L2, CIP enables users to create custom inheritance solutions, tailored by AI, using multi-signature wallets and legal agreements that cater to their evolving needs. Smart contracts are used to transfer crypto upon pre-agreed life events.
COTI will be used to secure assets on-chain, without compromising privacy. CIP uses multi-party computation, something COTI’s garbled circuits are ideally suited to achieving, enabling ironclad privacy and security for users. CIP’s automated inheritance offers a compliant solution, validated by legal documents to avoid disputes where possible.
New Technology, New Use Cases
These three partnerships once again demonstrate the importance of privacy, and the versatility of COTI’s garbled circuits for delivering a wealth of different solutions for Web3 projects.
