COTI Treasury V2 Upgrade is Coming Next Week!
We’re excited to announce that the final round of testing for the COTI V2 Treasury upgrade is underway, with full deployment expected as early as next week.
The launch of Treasury V2 will introduce support for COTI V2 token deposits, while maintaining support for ERC20 COTI deposits, paving the way for a seamless transition into the next phase of our ecosystem.
What to Expect
In terms of user experience, the overall look and feel of Treasury V2 will remain the same, providing familiarity for users. Features such as deposits, withdrawals, top-ups, gCOTI boosts, and deposit parameters like multipliers, locking periods, etc., will continue to function as before.
The upgrade is being fully managed by the COTI team, incurring no fees and requiring no further action from users, except for the requirement to link their MetaMask wallet.
Get Ready for the Upgrade
The upgrade process is expected to take approximately two hours to complete. During this time, access to the Treasury and VIPER Wallet will be temporarily unavailable. No liquidations will take place during downtime.
We will provide advanced notice of the planned time of the upgrade through our official channels. Users who have already linked their MetaMask wallet address can expect a smooth transition. Their $COTI tokens will be upgraded and made available directly on the Treasury platform.
Users who have not yet linked a MetaMask address must do so as soon as possible within their VIPER Wallet on pay.coti.io in order to continue to deposit, withdraw, and receive gCOTI rewards.
How to connect your MetaMask address
Please note: Users who have not linked a MetaMask address by the time of the upgrade will experience limited functionality in the Treasury. All activitiesm, except for migration, will be discontinued from the VIPER Wallet once Treasury V2 is live. Users who choose to migrate AFTER the launch of Treasury V2 may experience a transition period of up to five days. We strongly encourage you to take action early for the best possible user experience.
How to Log in to Treasury V2
Navigate to treasury.coti.io, click ‘Enter Treasury’, connect via MetaMask, and choose between ERC20 deposits (Ethereum) or COTI V2 deposits (COTI). The VIPER Wallet login will be discontinued.
Looking Ahead
The upgrade to Treasury V2 marks another important milestone in the ongoing development of the COTI V2 network. Progress to date includes:
- The launch of the COTI V2 Mainnet
- The deployment of Bridge V2
- Provision of support for USDC.e, wETH, and wBTC via Hyperlane’s Nexus bridge
- The upcoming launch of the COTI V2 Treasury, expected next week
