COTI Roundup — February Highlights
February has flown by, but we are pleased to report rapid progress as we approach Mainnet launch. Over the last few weeks, we have announced several major partnerships, including Arbus and Syncra; begun integration work for USDC; and made significant progress with our all-important MetaMask Snap.
Here’s a summary of February’s activity.
USDC Integration!
Stablecoins are a critical part of DeFi, providing a haven from the volatility of the crypto markets and a vital means of supplying liquidity and moving value safely around the Web3 ecosystem.
Circle’s USDC has emerged as one of the most popular and compliant stablecoins, and work has begun to integrate the Bridged USDC Standard into COTI V2, giving users a robust stablecoin upon Mainnet launch. Not only is this vital for fuelling DeFi growth, but it also paves the way for further stablecoin partners to join the network.
Key Partnerships Enhance COTI’s Privacy Ecosystem
February was great for partnerships. Four new partners onboarded to COTI — Arbus, Codex, Alphaday, and Big Money — will bring new use cases to the COTI ecosystem, including no-code development and gaming.
- Arbus: AI-Powered Data Storage. Arbus is a versatile toolkit built to collect, organize, and analyze Web3 data off-chain, enabling users to make informed and strategic trading and investment decisions by better understanding market trends. The partnership with COTI will see information gathered by Arbus stored securely and privately on-chain, ensuring that unauthorized third parties cannot exploit the insights it provides.
- CodeX: No-Code Building For Compliant Apps. Codex is helping to transform the field of software development with its AI-powered tools for builders. Thanks to a new partnership with COTI, CodeX now enables creators to build secure, scalable, and privacy-focused dApps quickly and easily. The use of COTI’s advanced privacy layer allows builders to maintain data security and meet regulatory standards like GDPR, HIPAA, and AML compliance.
- Alphaday: One-Stop Crypto Aggregator. Anyone who has spent even a little time in Web3 will have struggled to keep up with the deluge of information about different platforms and protocols, trends, breaking news and developments, and more. Alphaday enables users to create tailored dashboards, consolidating everything they want in one place without having to switch between multiple browser tabs and platforms. COTI’s partnership with Alphaday sees key data and services about the COTI ecosystem included in that data feed.
- Big Money Saga: Playing For Crypto. Telegram mini-apps are a major new trend in the Web3 world, onboarding millions of new users into the blockchain ecosystem thanks to their accessibility. Big Money: COTI Crush Saga is a simple, fun game that pays out with COTI tokens as users play. Better still, the “mining” mechanism is built with the COTI Privacy Contract, making Big Money Testnet tokens privacy-enabled assets.
February also saw the release of further information about our existing partnerships with NFA and Syncra. Our focus article on NFA details how COTI will help to protect its 85,000+ monthly active users from the risks of front-running and MEV exploits within its crypto trading Telegram app. You can also find out more about our collaboration with Syncra, the confidential DAO platform for decentralized community governance. Now, with COTI’s privacy capabilities, Syncra will be able to assure voter integrity.
It’s exciting to see the COTI ecosystem growing so fast, and knowing that so many projects are waiting to deploy on V2 very soon!
Tech Updates
We are preparing for another Testnet upgrade on Wednesday March 5th at 10:00 AM UTC. The upgrade is an important step on the road to Mainnet including bug fixes and refinements to COTI’s minting mechanism. This upgrade will reset the network, meaning all deployed contracts will need to be redeployed. Find out more details here.
Meanwhile, the highly regarded security firm Hacken, continues its audit of COTI to ensure security and resilience ahead of the Mainnet release, with no major issues found to date.
Our work on MetaMask Snap also continues. Snaps are custom features that, in COTI’s case, will enable users to interact with encrypted objects on the V2 network by default. The COTI Snap will onboard users with their encryption key, allow them to view encrypted transactions, and enable them to interact with all of the services built using garbled circuits.

COTI In The Spotlight
In February, we held the 7th COTI Connect Space, hosted by Tracer, with special guests from Syncra and CodeX. Also this month, COTI’s CEPO, Joshua Maddox, joined Gensio Media on X for a discussion on the rise of AI Agents, and finally, we were thrilled to host an AMA for PriveX on our Telegram channel where core team members answer community questions live.
Additionlly, February saw the release of a video update from COTI CEO Shahaf Bar-Geffen, who covered the official launch of PriveX — the first Perp-DEX on COTI — alongside other January announcements such as the partnerships with Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, Plume and Bancor.
News And Media
COTI appeared in the crypto media throughout February. Our CEO Shahaf Bar-Geffen gave his insights on Web3 and AI — a major area of interest for COTI — to three separate publications. In Bitcoin.comNews he spoke about the need for private agent to agent communications. HackerNoon published his thoughts on the importance of guarding on-chain data from unauthorized access and Benzinga quoted Shahaf’s predictions that 2025 will be an important year of growth for AI & Web3.
In addition, our support of the launch of PriveX earned extra coverage in TheNewsCrypto, Benzinga, and Mpost, and news of our USDC integration was picked up by Coinspeaker among others.
