COTI is excited to announce a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Aureus.money, a rising infrastructure platform for legally compliant, high-quality, and liquid real-world assets (RWAs).
Through this partnership, COTI’s Privacy-on-Demand will be integrated into Aureus’s Hedera-native platform to set new standards for institutional-grade privacy in Web3. COTI’s secure, compliant privacy can protect markets from front-running and MEV attacks, without compromising the liquidity on-chain.
Aureus and the Future of Tokenized Real-World Assets
Built on Hedera and regulated under Swiss law, Aureus represents the next phase in blockchain evolution, where privacy, identity, and compliance finally meet scalable, real-world asset utility. Though still in its early stages, the Aureus ecosystem is already laying the groundwork for a sweeping transformation of how RWAs operate on-chain.
Aureus enables the tokenization of traditionally illiquid real-world assets, such as real estate, private equity, and other high-value holdings, through its proprietary Real-World Bridge. Aureus transforms these assets into compliant digital securities that can exist and operate seamlessly on the Hedera network.
Aureus’s go-to-market will begin with the launch of its AUg settlement asset, followed by the progressive rollout of institutional framework for tokenizing high-value RWAs like real estate.
The platform’s monetization engine is powered by Aureus Gold (AUg), a 1:1 gold-backed settlement token that is fully ISO 20022-compliant. AUg is designed to be the foundational settlement asset of the Aureus finance layer, and will be integrated into DeFi protocols for trading and collateralization, while also serving as the core unit of account for our future financial services, including the Aureus Adaptive Lending Protocol (AALP).
COTI’s Privacy-on-Demand for Secure and Compliant DeFi
COTI’s Privacy-on-Demand provision will bring encrypted and compliant transaction capabilities to the Aureus platform. Using an on-chain implementation of garbled circuits, COTI ensures that users can interact with RWAs in a secure, confidential manner, without exposing sensitive data or transaction flows.
Aureus will initially list its AUg/USDC trading pair via Bancor’s Carbon DeFi platform. This initial deployment will give COTI users first touch with Aureus’s institutional-grade assets.
As the partnership progresses, Aureus will expand to new assets that provide new options for on-chain investment, collateralization, and treasury operations.
