We are excited to announce that Native $COTI is now listed as a supported asset on Ledger Live! Though this integration took longer than expected, we are finally able to share that Ledger has uploaded the COTI App to Ledger Live and is now fully compatible with Nano S, S+, and Nano X cold wallets.
This milestone will add more security and utility to Native $COTI holders, enabling them to easily transfer Native $COTI coins directly from their VIPER wallet and store them in the Ledger device of their choosing.
If you haven’t installed Ledger Live yet, please follow this tutorial.
How to Download and Connect COTI App to Ledger Live
- Make sure that your Ledger Live App and device firmware are updated to the latest version.
- Navigate to ‘My Ledger’ on the sidebar, and search for the COTI app in the navigation bar.

4. After you’ve downloaded the app, it will be shown on your Ledger device.
5. Go to https://pay.coti.io/ and after you’ve signed in, choose to connect with Ledger.
6. When you click on ‘connect’, a window will emerge at the upper left corner of your screen. Grant permission to pair the browser with the Ledger device.
7. Click again on connect.
How to Transfer Native $COTI from VIPER Wallet to Ledger
- After connecting your Ledger to your VIPER Wallet via pay.coti.io, generate a receive address. You can generate up to 3 addresses.
- Sign in to your COTI Pay VIPER Wallet, and connect with your seed or secret key.
- Go to the ‘send/receive’ section in your VIPER Wallet.
- Enter the amount of $COTI you wish to transfer.
- Specify your Ledger receive address you generated earlier as the recipient, just like you would for any other transfer of $COTI.
- Click ‘Send’
Please note that when transferring from Ledger to COTI Pay VIPER wallet, you will need to sign between 4 to 6 times on your Ledger device to confirm the transaction.
