Leaders Convene for the 1st Africa Tokenization Council Roundtable

As proud members of the Africa Tokenization Council, we’re helping to bring together some of the boldest minds for the Real-World Asset Summit in Dubai this month.

On April 30, 2025, COTI will join some of the most influential leaders in the tokenization space who are shaping the future of real-world assets (RWA). Together, we will discuss the regulatory pathways, partnerships, practices, and investments required to unlock the growth of a thriving tokenization ecosystem across MENA and broader Africa.

This invite-only roundtable will be hosted in collaboration with the Real-World Asset Summit, Saudi Arabia AI and Blockchain Centre, and Tokenized Asset Coalition at the iconic Burj Al Arab during TOKEN2049–one of the largest blockchain gatherings.

Bringing Together Government, Practitioners, and Investors

We’re at a pivotal moment for tokenization writ large. From national infrastructure and real estate to securities and commodities, RWAs are moving on-chain at scale. But scaling this ecosystem requires government-to-government, cross-border, and public-private collaboration.

That’s why we’re collectively bringing together a cohort of forty leaders, including global financial experts, nation-scale investors, policy makers, technologists, and practitioners, for candid dialogue and solutioning.

We’ll drive discussion through a series of Jeffersonian-style roundtables on key areas, including:

• Trust-building between TradFi and DeFi
• Regulatory clarity and investment frameworks
• Legal models for on-chain asset ownership
• Liquidity creation across primary and secondary markets
• Privacy, compliance, and interoperability standards

Each participant will contribute their unique perspectives on some of the most urgent challenges — and significant opportunities — for large-scale tokenization across target regions.

COTI Privacy Expertise

Our representatives, CEO, Shahaf Bar-Geffen, CEPO, Joshua Maddox and CSO, Yair Lavi, will be leading the conversation on topics such as confidential transactions that enable auditability (a major unlock for the trillion dollar RWA market), as well as interoperability standards that allow assets to flow across chains and jurisdictions, and between TradFi institutions and DeFi innovators.

Action points and insights from the Real-World Asset Summit Roundtable will fuel a series of high-level follow-ups — from Cannes to Brooklyn. This isn’t a one-off. It’s a movement toward real-world tokenization at scale.
