COTI and Xctuality Partner to Empower Web3 Privacy across ‘Phygital’ Ecosystem

COTI has joined forces with Xctuality, a leader in the phygital (physical + digital) ecosystem space to bring privacy to its broad suite of products, including novel Persona NFTs. The partnership will showcase new and innovative applications of COTIs privacy solution.

Persona NFTs and Web3 privacy

Xctuality has embraced COTI as its privacy provider of choice. Through this partnership, Xctuality will deliver programmable security and confidentiality across a range of use cases including its Persona NFT users.

Xctuality’s Persona NFTs are a way for the holder to store their digital identity and build up user preferences to form an intent profile, for a more tailored digital experience. They have already found utility with fan engagement app Kooky.io within the newly created Kiiwe Fan Engagement Network. This ecosystem, which will connect K-pop groups to their fans, will use Persona NFTs to enhance user experiences. With over 2 million users already established, Xctuality’s Persona NFTs will help artists better understand their audience, deliver bespoke experiences, and manage event ticketing.

Persona NFTs deployed on COTI V2 ensure that sensitive information is encrypted, stored and accessed securely on the blockchain, avoiding the creation of centralized data silos that can be scraped and sold. Not only can the Persona NFT be safely shared across sites without exposing information to unauthorized parties, but users and dApp managers can selectively provide different access or decryption rights to different stars, experiences or organizations.

Expanding Utility Across Platforms

This partnership extends beyond entertainment. Xctuality will deploy COTI to its full suite of innovative solutions like MetaFarms, which combines physical farming with Web3 technology, and Verde Whisper, an ESG initiative tokenizing the Amazon Rainforest. Warren Woon, co-founder of Xctuality, commented,
