We are glad to announce that the MultiDAG 2.0 Mainnet hard fork event will be taking place on December 29th!
The hard fork date was determined after a successful testing period, during which more than 1,100 tokens were generated on top of the protocol. The MultiDAG 2.0 protocol, which utilizes the CMD (COTI MultiDAG) standard, enables the issuance of tokens on top of the COTI Trustchain, and will enable the full transition from a single currency infrastructure to a multi token layer. These tokens are built with Trustchain capabilities such as high scalability, throughput and security, addressing the critical needs of enterprises today.
Along with the MultiDAG 2.0, the COTI Explorer 2.0, which offers a variety of stats related to the Trustchain’s transactions, will also be deployed to Mainnet. Explorer users will also have access to additional enhancements, such as the ability to search for any token that was generated on the Trustchain, view detailed information related to that token, as well as access to the COTI full node list.
The timeline for MultiDAG 2.0:
- All nodes will be upgraded to 3.1.2 version until December 29th.
- Huobi and Kucoin are in the final stages of upgrading their nodes and apps.
- MultiDAG 2.0 hard fork event and Explorer 2.0 Mainnet release will take place on December 29th.
The upcoming launch is a big step for COTI and the crypto industry at large, as this development will open partnership doors with enterprises that are yet to adopt crypto payment solutions. We are excited to share this moment with you, and we’ll share further updates as we progress.
